CONTACT : ABOUT PAUL TEDESCO, Design Director of Global Marketing for Donna Karan International, oversees the iconic brand’s graphic design studio which produces everything from lookbooks and invitations to champagne bottles and window visuals. Condé Nast brought Paul to NY in 1995 to launch Gourmet, Bon Appetite and CNTraveler on that new fangled thing called the Internet. He’s since designed and consulted on brand image and identity collateral for clients ranging from Giorgio Armani and Alain Ducasse to IBM and Lotus. Paul did some time in the agency world, working as a rogue Art Director for Deutsch, OgilvyOne, Hill | Holliday and J. Walter Thompson. Paul’s been a participating artist and designer in several shows and projects including : Elle Decor’s Dining By Design Show, the ICFF Williamsburg Design Off-site and Firstop Design Weekend. He’s designed and produced a line of graphic t-shirts, furniture, and animal pillows made out of repurposed fabric, and shot and designed a photography book on shoes, because, well, he’s got a thing for shoes. As for writing, Paul’s contributed articles to Details, New York Today, Time Out New York, and is the coauthor of Online Markets for Writers. He is currently focusing on the completion of a collection of short stories.
